Our Funding Model

As a non-profit organisation, we are dependent on donations from caring people and organisations to do our work. We also understand that making donations can be a very personal matter, and sometimes people want to see their donation go towards a specific cause. Our funding model is designed to cater to all types of contributions, ranging from making donations for particular causes, volunteering time, or donating to larger broad-based community projects. The section below will provide you with options and various methods of contribution.

Make a Tax-Deductible Donation

The Interchange Foundation is registered with the South African Revenue Services as a Public Benefit Organisation, PB930046416. This ensures that all the donations and goods in kind are tax-deductible. Once you make a donation, please forward the proof of payment or value of goods in kind to  info@interchangefoundation.co.za, and we will issue a Section 18A receipt as specified by the Income Tax Act 58 of 1962. We can also arrange for a debit order if you wish to make a recurring monthly contribution. If you prefer to donate to a specific cause, indicate the reference number supplied in the feedback blogs.

Partner With Us

If you have a specific new cause/project you want to support/nominate or have a current program which you want to link up with the IF network, please send an email to info@interchangefoundation.co.za with a brief description of the support required.

Fundraiser For Us

If you have a particular cause you want to support or feel the need to do something good, or wish to transform an event into a fundraiser for the Interchange Foundation, contact us for support or to remove the red tape associated with private fundraising by sending an e-mail to info@interchangefoundation.co.za

Broadband Black Economic Development

Because IF is a registered PBO, we can issue a valid certificate to submit with your B-BBEE audit documentation to obtain your social development points and get a tax deduction on your contribution, with the added benefit of knowing that the funds will go towards charity with a purpose.
